We did not start in equipment. We started in formulation — which turned out to be the harder half of the problem.
Paiject Industries was established in Taiwan in 1989, manufacturing automotive care chemistry — coatings, detergents, protectants and related products. At the time the domestic market for professional car care barely existed. Formulation has been the core capability ever since.
Car wash equipment came later, and for a specific reason: how well a wash performs is only half a function of the machine. The other half is the chemistry — and the chemistry has to be built against that machine.
Most equipment manufacturers do not formulate. Most chemical manufacturers do not build equipment. That gap is where inconsistent wash results come from, and it is the gap we set out to close.
Formulation and manufacturing of automotive care chemistry. Car wash chemical systems are developed here, against the water volume, pressure and cycle timing of the target machine.
Equipment supply, assembly, commissioning and field service. Draw-rate calibration and scheduled maintenance are carried out by in-house technicians.
The two are independent companies working under a long-standing commercial arrangement — one formulates, one builds and services.
Specifications describe a machine. They do not show you a finished panel. Our Taichung facility runs live equipment that visitors can put a vehicle through, with meeting space on site for technical and commercial discussion.
It also functions as our assembly and calibration base — equipment is reconditioned, commissioned and tested here before it goes out.
